A New Way OF Thinking
I find it very frustrating, and you should too. It is time for a call to action for people to take control and make a change in America.
This should be thought of as a right way of thinking, more than a new way of thinking. There seems to be an 80/20 rule, where a small percentage of people have influence over the majority, and this imbalance of power is preventing progress and working against the best interests of the people, especially people of color.
There is a parallel between historical instances, such as slavery, and the current situation, although the forms of oppression have changed, there is still a need for people to come together and work towards a better future. The importance of organizing and selecting the right individuals to represent the people in positions of power, particularly in education and politics.
We are faced with the “carrot road” people become complacent or distracted by their personal responsibilities and daily lives, which can hinder collective action and prevent necessary changes from happening. The power to bring about change lies with the people, and it is important for them to stand up and actively participate in shaping the country’s future.
It is worth noting that public opinion, activism, economic development, and voting are some of the ways people can engage in the democratic process to influence policy and decision-making. By staying informed, getting involved in local and national issues, supporting candidates who align with their values, and holding those individuals accountable. We can have an impact on shaping the direction of our country.
